Shop-floor Japanese Phrases
A four-page handbook for Vietnamese staff in Japanese factories or working directly with Japanese engineers on the shop floor. It opens with the four situations where you must ask back, ten phrases for asking and confirming, the read-back technique (復唱), especially for numbers, and a sample dialogue for taking on a new task safely. The middle covers twenty operation verbs, three sentence endings to recognise instantly, intransitive and transitive verb pairs, and four levels of instructions. It closes with three levels of asking for approval, phrases for permission, receiving instructions and reporting, plus common mistakes.
