Mechanical Design Knowledge
Mechanical design turns an idea into a machine that can be manufactured, assembled, inspected, and operated safely. That means choosing the mechanism, calculating load and power, setting a tolerance that can be held, defining GD&T and datums clearly, selecting shafts and bearings, and reviewing the released drawing as a complete system.
