Tools for machine projects: timing chart, I/O list, utilities and capability

Engineering Reference now has a set of tools for automated machine projects, laid out in the order the work is actually done.

Timing chart: enter the machine's sequence of motions to draw a timing chart by device, calculate the cycle (tact) time and export the result. I/O list: generate the signal list from the devices you enter and assign addresses following several PLC makers' conventions, including CODESYS / IEC 61131-3. Utilities and capability: bring the machine's power, air and water conditions (utility specification) and capability confirmation data together on one page.

Alongside them is a "Machine project documents" table listing the documents usually exchanged with the customer at each stage.
